Sparkpoint is a community-focused organization promoting financial health and access to quality employment for all Oakland residents. The T-shirt represents Sparkpoint's commitment to the Oakland community, with a particular focus on its services for the AAPI community in Chinatown. 




In this design, I wanted to highlight the 4 pillars of Sparkpoint’s program: 
  1. Managing Credit
  2. Reducing Debt
  3. Increasing Income
  4. Building Assets


   Financial concepts can be difficult to navigate for the first time, especially for monolingual immigrants. In our collaboration, we moved away from literal financial imagery and infused cultural motifs like the cash coin or fruits into the illustrations instead to break down these abstract concepts into simpler steps.
